USING ZOOM FOR discipleship and meetings

During this time of social distancing due to
Covid-19, Covenant Community Presbyterian Church will be utilizing Zoom for a large portion of our online discipleship, as well as important meetings.

From Wednesday night Youth Group, to VBS every Wednesday morning, Zoom will allow our congregation to connect live and face-to-face, while following the social guidelines set in place. CCPC staff will be coordinating these gatherings/meetings, making attendance as simple as a few steps for those participating:

  1. You will receive an email from the leader that will include a link to the event and an I.D. number. (Note: The FIRST time you open a Zoom link, it will prompt you to download the app. This is FREE. Please follow the instructions given to install.)

  2. Each Zoom event that you open will ask for the I.D. number you received in the invitation email.

  3. For any video/visual participation, you will need a camera either on your phone, or on your computer. If you do not have one, the invitation email you receive will provide instructions for calling in on your phone.

  4. We encourage participants to mute yourself unless you have an opportunity to speak. Household noises can often times be a distraction to others. Please see the video below to learn about in-meeting functions.
