Food Pantry

For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat ... I tell you the truth, whatever you did for the last of these brothers of mine, you did for me.”
— Matthew 25:35-40

Covenant Community Presbyterian Church has sponsored a "Food Pantry" since 1998. We are open from 3:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month. All are welcome; the only requirement being one person per household who is at least 18 years of age. Some form of identification is requested. So, if at sometime you find yourself in need, please come.

If you are a member of Covenant Community Presbyterian Church and would like to volunteer to help in our food pantry, you are most welcome. We usually require about 10 volunteers per pantry. Helping to share food and carry-on from the conversation is the most rewarding experience. If you would like to be put on the list of volunteers, please contact Jim Gates at or Bob Gebauer at

CCPC’s Care Closet is open once a month during food pantry hours.  We continue to provide quality used clothing and household items for the clients who attend our food pantry.  Donations for that ministry are always welcome in the bin outside of the Care Closet located on the lower level across from the elevator.
