The Spiritual Life Road Map
Our Spiritual Road Map identifies four stages of the Spiritual Life. Determine which stage fits you best, and then look to see what action steps might help you continue to move forward in your relationship with Christ!
Stage One:
Life Opportunity
Stage One: LIfe Opportunity
Represented by the empty circle, this stage is that which precedes a relationship with Jesus, where you may be exploring or considering faith (and where God is actively seeking you).
Next Steps:
1. Weekly Sunday Worship
2. Read our Prayer Guide.
3. Find a First Serve Opportunity.
4. Schedule a conversation with a pastor, elder or ministry
leader.
5. Attend CCPC 101.
6. Complete the G.O.S.P.E.L. Class (in community, if possible).
7. Read Philippians and the Gospel of John.

Stage Two: NEw Life
Represented by a circle with a small cross that looks like a plus sign, this stage is that of the new believer who has added Jesus into their life, and is exploring what it means to seek Christ.
1. Baptism or Reaffirmation of Faith (Membership)
2. Weekly Sunday Worship
3. Daily time with the Lord
■ Read our Prayer Guide
■ Join a Bible App Reading Plan
4. Serve monthly in a ministry.
5. Complete The G.O.S.P.E.L. Class (in community, if possible).
6. Attend a CCPC Mission Trip.
7. Make a pledge to support the ministry of the church.
8. Invite a friend to visit CCPC.
9. Read the entire New Testament.

Stage Two: New Life
Stage Three: Full Life
Stage Three: Full Life
Represented by a circle that is filled with the cross, this stage is that of the believer who has thoughtfully connected every aspect of their life to their relationship with Christ.
1. Weekly Sunday Worship
2. Daily Time with the Lord
■ Join a Bible App Reading Plan
■ Pray for the Entire World (35 Day Guide)
3. Serve or lead in existing ministries.
4. Attend a class or small group & complete the
P.R.O.M.I.S.E.S. Old Testament class.
5. Attend a Walk to Emmaus Weekend Retreat and/or a
CCPC Mission Trip.
6. Consider church leadership as a Deacon or Elder.
7. Tithe or make a proportional (percentage) gift as your
pledge.
8. Invite those without a church to visit CCPC, engage in
spiritual conversations, share your testimony when
appropriate.
9. Read the entire Old and New Testament.

Stage Four: His Life
Represented by a circle where the cross is larger than the circle itself, this stage is that of the mature believer who realizes Jesus is not a character in our story; we are characters in his story. Like John the Baptist, we happily state, “He must increase, I must decrease.”
1. Weekly Sunday Worship
2. Daily time with the Lord, on your terms. Here are some potential resources:

■ The Bible Project
■ Lectionary Readings
■ The Daily Office
3. Serve, lead or launch ministries in/through CCPC.
4. Seasonally facilitate a class or group.
5. Participate in pilgrimages and/or silent retreats, mission trips, etc.
6. Consider church leadership as a Deacon or Elder.
7. Tithe or give beyond the tithe in your pledge.
8. Engage in spiritual conversations, explain the gospel and invite others to follow Jesus.
9. Read the Bible repeatedly and devotionally.
