Wrapped in Warmth

Our Care Closet offers people in need a variety of clothing for children; we also share items including pencils, crayons, and craft items.

Our Wrapped in Warmth ministry emerged from what was once Christmas Families.  Through this ministry, we provide new and like-new jackets, winter boots, hats and mitten/gloves to area children who would go without if not for the support of this program.  Winter clothing is distributed in two ways:  directly through requests by area school guidance counselors; and through requests/needs of our Hearts of Hope families.

You can help by:

  • Donating like new winter clothing – jackets, and boots in all sizes infant-adult . Please place donations in the bin outside of the care closet located on the lower level across from the elevator.

  • Shopping winter clearance sales and donating new items to our Wrapped in Warmth Ministry

  • Making a monetary donation designated to Wrapped in Warmth Ministry

  • Becoming part of the delivery team that delivers winter clothing to area families (This year, the Wrapped In Warmth distribution events will be Tuesday, November 7 and Thursday, November 9 from 3:30-8pm at CCPC)
